Shop of Clocks Shipping Rates and PoliciesShop of Clocks sells clocks produced by several suppliers. We may have different shipping methods/pricing for the various brands we handle. Shipping information is shown here as it applies to each brand/supplier with whom we deal. Shop of Clocks only ships with in the continental United States. UPS Ground is the primary shipping method of all our suppliers, with the rates calculated when you check out. However, UPS 3 Day Select shipping is available for some items. You will have to contact us for the rates and payment method, if you wish to use this type of shipping. If your have any questions contact us at: These clocks are shipped UPS Ground at fixed rates: Cuckoo clocks-19.95/item, Grandfather clocks-59.95/item. We only ship within the continental United States. Rates are subject to change (if UPS rates increase). Charges will be applied when you check out. We advise you to inspect all shipments for damage before accepting delivery.
Shipping Rates All shipping rates are calculated using the rate, weight and location formula provided by UPS. Charges will be applied when you check out. There is a $3.50 handling charge (per item) added to the shipping costs.At this time, we can only accept online orders from within the United States. We advise you to inspect all shipments for damage before accepting delivery. All Loricron clocks are shipped UPS Ground, costs calculated when you order, and shown on your order form. (Note: some items incur an oversize package charge.)
In addition there is a $6.50 /item fee for insurance and handling charges. Order processing time is usually 5-7 business days
We ship UPS Ground. Shipping charges are calculated when you place the order and are added to the total on the order form. Shop of Clocks offers free shipping on many of the Ridgeway clocks we sell, except those shipped UPS, which are charged the current UPS costs. Please check each clock to see which option is applicable.Most of our Ridgeway Grandfather Clocks are shipped by a “Home Delivery Service”, usually a freight company, base rate of $215.00 per clock. They will schedule a delivery time with you and deliver the clock into your home, in some cases they will unpack (but not set up) the clock. Remember you are responsible for checking for damage. A few of these grandfather clocks, the smaller models, are shipped by UPS. We also have an “In Home Set Up” option, which in many cases is included with your purchase. Others can elect to purchase this option for a cost of $150.00. A qualified Clock technician will coordinate with the customer a convenient set-up appointment once the clock is delivered. If you choose to set up the clock yourself or purchase a clock shipped UPS, an easy to follow CD will be shipped with your clock with set up instructions. Please check each clock to see which option is applicable. Please read the section about damage in shipping below, because any returns must be repacked in the original packaging. DAMAGE IN SHIPPING Please read and follow these guidelines and instructions to avoid financial loss if your clock was damaged when delivered and you have a claim. DELIVERY BY COMMON CARRIER (Other than UPS): If your clock is damaged in shipment and delivered by a freight company, you must note the damage on the freight bill, refuse to accept the shipment and notify us immediately for a claim to be valid. You are responsible for checking for damage. If you do not note the damage on the bill your ability to seek reimbursement will be voided. Please remember: If you accept delivery of a damaged clock from a freight company, and you do not refuse the clock, or you do not note the damage on the freight bill, we will not be able to help you with your claim. UPS DELIVERIES: If your clock is damaged in shipment, you must notify us within 24 hours. Since all clocks are shipped insured, you must save all packing materials for an inspection by the shipping company.You may also want to follow the guidelines shown above for noting the damage on the delivery bill, or refusing the delivery. |
