Return & Warranty Policy for Shop of Clocks



Shop of Clocks Return Policies

Shop of Clocks sells clocks produced by several suppliers. Therefore, the Return and Warranty Policies for the different brands we handle will vary for each supplier.

Please note that any item returned for a refund (irregardless of the brand) will be charged a 15% restocking fee, which will be deducted from any refund made. Only the purchase price of the item will be refunded, shipping and handling costs cannot be reimbursed.
 

Returned items should be in the original packaging, or you may also be charged a repackaging fee if required by our supplier.  

Return shipping costs, via UPS, will be the customer’s responsibility and we will designate the address to which the item will be shipped.

Hazel Clocks Warranty & Return Policies

If you should find your clock damaged while unpacking or setting up your grandfather clock or cuckoo clock, please contact us at the customer service link above. 

We will then decide if we can send you a replacement part or if the clock needs to be returned to us.
You will be given a Return Authorization Number which must accompany the clock, along with the return shipping address. All returned clocks must be new and unused and received within 15 days of the purchase date.
In addition all returned clocks must be sent with the original packaging, tags, warranty cards, documentation, manuals, and accessories.  


Shipping damage is usually dealt by us. You contact us and we determine how the damage occurred (internal or external). UPS is usually at fault for any shipping damage. A claim will be filed with UPS. UPS will pick up the clock, and return it-at UPS expense.
Once the clock is received, a new replacement will be sent, at no extra cost to you.

Warranty

Hazel clocks come with a one year warranty. If your clock stops working within that period contact us at the customer service link above. Shop of Clocks will contact the manufacturer and decide whether to send a new part or take back the non-working part and fix it.
As with any warranty the customer must pay for the return shipping.

Return Shipping Cost

Return shipping costs for grandfather clocks and cuckoo clocks must be prepaid by the customer and sent by UPS to the address you will receive with the Return Authorization Number. 

Bradford Clocks Warranty & Return Policies

Returns

If your merchandise is defective or damaged contact us with your order confirmation email and receipt. We will then contact Bradford Clocks about replacing the clock or refunding your money. All returned clocks must be new, unused and include packaging, tags, warranty cards, documentation, manuals, and accessories.  Return shipping costs will be paid for by the customer and received within15 days of the purchase date.  For a Returned Merchandise Authorization and shipping address contact us at the customer service link above.  

 Warranty

LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY ON THE CLOCK CABINET
LIMITED 2 YEAR WARRANTY ON THE CLOCK MOVEMENT

Bradford clocks are guaranteed to be free of defects in both materials and workmanship as stated above. This warranty starts from the date of purchase from an authorized Bradford Clocks dealer. Bradford Clock's obligation under this guarantee is limited to repair or replacement at Bradford's option, within 30 days after notification and return of the clock to Bradford Clocks, Ltd., along with a check or money order in the amount of $10.00 to cover shipping, handling, and insurance costs. This warranty does not cover any brass hardware, decorative or functional.

This warranty does not cover any clock which, in Bradford's opinion, has been improperly repaired or altered in any way, or which has been subjected to abuse or accident, or has been set up in adverse conditions (for example, near a source of excessive heat or moisture). The clock must be properly packed and protected to insure safe delivery to our plant. No other guarantees are either expressed or implied.

Loricron Clocks Warranty & Return Policy
Loricron will pick up defective items, at no charge, within one (1) year of the original invoice date. Please do not return clocks unless/until a Return Authorization is issued. Email us at the customer service link above for this authorization. Any returns for credit or exchange are subject to a 15% restocking fee and shipping must be prepaid (UPS) by the customer. Any item returned must be in original condition and with original packaging, or it will not be accepted for credit or exchange.
River City Clocks Warranty & Return Policy
RIVER CITY CUCKOO CLOCK TWO YEAR WARRANTY
Your River City Cuckoo Clock is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years.
River City
’s obli­gation under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective clock without charge.
This warranty applies to the original consumer and is not transfer­able.
Please enclose a copy of the sales receipt.
Warranty service is available by returning the clock, postage pre­paid, along with a check in the amount of $9.50 made payable to RIVER CITY SERVICE CENTER for return postage and handling.
Please pack your cuckoo clock for shipping as detailed on p. 7 of this booklet and allow 4-6 weeks for warranty repairs.

The following situations are not covered under this warranty:
1.  Damage sustained while in transit or through misuse and/or abuse.
2. Chains off the wheels or tangled.
3. Any problems caused by not following the instructions in the instruction brochure packed with your clock.
4. Repairs done by anyone other than an authorized
RIVER CITY SERVICE CENTER.
RETURN FOR SERVICE INFORMATION

It is suggested you insure the clock to cover any damage that may occur during shipment. Include your check for $9.50 for return shipping and handling along with a note including your name, phone number, return shipping address and nature of defect.
Please allow 4-6 weeks for warranty repairs.

Ridgeway Clocks Warranty and Return Policy
Warranties and Limitations.

We warrant that the goods shall be free from defects in materials or workmanship when they leave our factory. For purposes of this paragraph, defective goods are goods which are found by us to have been defective in materials or workmanship at the time they left our factory if the defect materially impairs the value of the goods. THE WARRANTY HEREIN IS IN LIEU OF ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, IN PARTICULAR, WE MAKE NO WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. WE SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY TO YOU FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, LOST PROFITS, OR OTHER ECONOMIC INJURY.

Return of Non-Defective Products.

Ridgeway will accept back clocks refused by the end customer under the following terms and conditions only:

  a) The request for return comes directly from the person who purchased the clock.

  b) The purchaser confirms via email to Shop of Clocks their understanding of and agreement to the return charges. This must be received before any RGA (returned goods authorization) is issued.

  Return charges are as follows:

  1.  Product credit-

    If the carton returned was unopened-- 85% credit. (15 % restocking fee charged)

    If the carton returned was opened--50% credit

  Note: Reason for partial credit is because any product returned must be inspected before it goes back into stock. If the carton was opened we have no way of insuring the clock was repacked correctly.

  In addition the customer will be charged for freight out and freight back, in all cases.

  c) Once the customer acknowledges these terms we will contact Ridgeway Clocks for an RGA to have the clock returned.

  d) Only after the clock is returned and inspected will the correct partial credit be issued.

  e) Under no circumstances will Shop of Clocks or Ridgeway pay for the return freight or give credit for the outgoing freight charges.

  f) When final credit is issued, it will be for a percentage of the actual clock value.
